Role Overview
Under the guidance of the Lead Teacher, provide comprehensive services that support the development of the whole child, with a focus on school readiness
Create a safe, supervised, inclusive, educational setting where all children can experience success
Implement the Creative Curriculum, the Project Approach, and other developmentally appropriate content
Partner with families in the child’s development
Provide and maintain a safe environment
Use an online curriculum and child assessment system
Keep complete and accurate observation records on the children
Plan and implement individual, as well as small and whole group programming for all children
Requirements
Associate degree in ECE is preferred or Child Development Associate Credential (CDA)
Minimum of 9 ECE credits and be enrolled in a program leading to an Associate or Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education
Preferred 1 years of experience working with children in a licensed childcare facility
Proficiency with Microsoft Office ability to utilize online data systems
