Role Overview
- Take end-to-end ownership of people operations in a fully remote law firm
- Run day-to-day people operations and build them into scalable systems
- Handle sensitive one-to-one conversations with care
- Own new-starter onboarding flows end to end
- Be the first point of contact for managers and handle absence and leave administration
- Own HR system and configure workflows
- Draft and track routine employee paperwork
- Identify things to automate and support managers through light-touch training
Requirements
- Hands-on experience using Claude, ChatGPT or similar AI tools to build and improve operational processes
- Ability to run sensitive conversations with empathy
- Sound judgment on sensitive and confidential issues
- Basic understanding of employment law is ideal but not essential
- Experience in a people team or high-growth environment is ideal but not essential
