Woven Health Collective is a healthcare marketing, strategy, and science communications company, dedicated to revolutionizing healthcare through innovative solutions and collaborative partnerships. The Business Development Manager will support sales and marketing infrastructure, pipeline management, and cross-functional business development execution to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales Analyst on optimization of HubSpot CRM platform, including data quality, pipeline tracking, and operational workflows
- Develop and maintain comprehensive sales and pipeline reports for executive leadership, enabling strategic oversight and data-driven decision-making
- Support Business Development Directors and account managers with prospecting, pitch development support, regular CRM support, sales updates, and pipeline quality assurance
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards to track sales & marketing outreach, conversion metrics, and business development KPIs
- Serve as secondary support on HubSpot troubleshooting and report development
- Track and maintain prospecting contact lists and any documented interactions in the company CRM system
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities aligned with Ideal Client Profiles across different Woven Health Collective service offerings
- Support the SVP and Business Units in sales opportunity intake and lead assignments
- Lead the operational execution of pitch materials, proposals, and RFP responses, leveraging advanced PowerPoint skills to create polished, on-brand presentations
- Work side-by-side with the SVP of Growth, Business Development Directors, and cross-functional business unit leadership to prepare and organize pitch presentations
- Collaborate with delivery teams from Strategy, Medical, Creative, and other business units to build compelling narratives that pull through cross-functional capabilities
- Support client services and scientific teams for within-account growth opportunity presentations as needed
- Drive sales and marketing infrastructure systems to manage lead generation and support analytics with the Sales and Marketing Analyst
- Support SVP and President in cross-functional pipeline meetings to maintain real-time visibility on key opportunities, blockers, and business development progress
- Partner with Marketing to execute follow-up on leads generated from campaigns, events, content, and paid media
- Support the SVP and CSGO and other leaders in optimizing account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives and sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with business units and account managers as directed to activate whitespace opportunities within current accounts
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in sales operations or inside sales, with roles in either: Healthcare/pharma communications agency environments (medical communications, promotional marketing, strategic consulting), OR Pharmaceutical companies working in inside sales, or commercial operations
- Deep understanding of biopharma services landscape, including medical communications, promotional marketing, and strategic consulting
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating high-quality pitch decks, proposals, and executive presentations
- Advanced CRM expertise, specifically with HubSpot platform, including backend setup, configuration, reporting, and operationalization
- Strong knowledge of the sales and marketing process, from lead generation through opportunity management to close
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with ability to manage up and down
- Proficiency in AI tools and sales operations systems for email management, prospecting, CRM/pipeline management and workflow automation
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and follow-through
- Self-starter with problem-solving mentality and strong business acumen
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field
- Ability to travel as needed for industry events, company meetings and client presentations
- Experience supporting proposal development and account-based marketing programs
- Certification in Business Development, ABM Strategies, or Sales Management of interest
- Comfort in both executional and strategic aspects of business development workflows
