The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to curing Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. They are seeking a Manager, Business Development to manage and grow relationships with strategic corporate partners, ensuring successful partnerships and revenue targets are met.
Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with the Senior Director, Business Development, manage (retention, cultivation, stewardship) relationships with the Foundation’s strategic corporate partners
- Develop and manage a pipeline of targeted opportunities of support with our strategic corporate partners for Foundation programs
- Write strong and detailed proposals & presentations, acknowledgements, reports, and other communications that demonstrate Foundation and programmatic impact based on national materials
- Manage and execute various aspects of strategic corporate partner meetings at conferences, including agenda setting, slide and/or material preparation, facilitation, and internal meeting guidance
- Liaise between the Foundation’s field staff and the national office regarding event national sponsorships, and local event support and benefits, providing guidance as needed
- Collaboration with other Foundation teams to maximize strategic corporate partner opportunities and ensure revenue targets are met
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 2 – 3 years of fundraising and partnership management experience
- Demonstrated performance working in a remote/virtual position
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment on multiple projects, exercising good judgement in prioritization
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Superior writing skills to craft and edit compelling proposals and targeted, meaningful communications
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deliver effective presentations to junior through executive-level colleagues / partners
- Collaborative attitude: strong ability to work well cross functionality with other departments and local chapters
- Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Commitment to maintain integrity of a central database
- Approximately 10% travel
