Reddit is a community-driven platform with a vast user base, and they are seeking a Marketing Science Research and Partnerships Manager to lead a global team. This role involves overseeing measurement research and third-party partnerships while demonstrating Reddit's value as a media platform through strategic insights and methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a global team of data scientists and partnership managers, ensuring efficient operations and career growth within the Marketing Science function
- Drive the execution of strategic bets including platform research & insights, 3P solutions enablement as well as scaled tooling & productivity solutions
- Direct the development of various measurement methodologies, algorithms, and tools—such as attitudinal survey research, ROI measurement, and causal inference—to support global sales efforts
- Manage the implementation and activation of partner solution programs for clients, acting as the primary liaison between external 3P measurement partners and Reddit internal teams
- Oversee a data informatics team focused on delivering technology-based solutions, including clean room implementations, AI tooling, and ML productivity
- Support the creation of 1P and 3P research, meta-analyses, and case studies that communicate Reddit’s value to internal and external stakeholders
- Represent Reddit to the larger research and analytics industry through speaking engagements, white papers, and conferences
- Oversee project completion from initiation to delivery, ensuring all research and tooling scales across all Reddit advertisers
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of team leadership experience
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics or a similar quantitative discipline is preferred
- Expertise in experimental and quasi-experimental design, with deep knowledge of advanced statistical methods and causal inference
- Proficiency with big data technologies (SQL, Python, BigQuery) and familiarity with emerging AI/ML productivity tools
- Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and outside analytics teams
- Comfortable driving innovative research through ambiguity in a rapidly growing company environment
