Columbia Forest Products is seeking a Business Analyst Intern to support their large-scale ERP transformation known as Evergreen. This role involves assisting with process documentation, testing activities, and project coordination across various workstreams such as Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in documenting business processes, requirements, and gaps across ERP workstreams, following the structure used in Evergreen Phase‑0 and functional mapping activities
- Help prepare materials for workshops, fit‑to‑standard sessions, and design discussions with business and IT stakeholders
- Support analysis of process dependencies, handoffs, and upstream/downstream impacts
- Assist in developing test cases, gathering acceptance criteria, and preparing test scripts for ERP functional cycles
- Execute test cases under the guidance of functional leads; log outcomes, defects, and retest needs
- Help maintain testing documentation and ensure alignment with Evergreen’s detailed testing expectations (accuracy, traceability, and completeness)
- Assist with data collection, data validation activities, and preparation of datasets for conversion tasks as assigned by functional leads
- Help maintain up‑to‑date documentation including RAID logs, process maps, workshop notes, and configuration trackers following established Evergreen governance practices
- Support organization of shared documentation libraries and cross‑functional information repositories
- Coordinate with business process owners, IT architects, integrators, and project managers to gather information and keep deliverables aligned
- Participate in meetings to capture action items, decisions, risks, and follow‑up tasks
- Assist the ERP Program Manager with project planning tasks, timelines, dependencies, and milestone tracking
- Help prepare status summaries, dashboards, and communication updates to support transparency across the Evergreen initiative
- Contribute to project intake, prioritization, and governance activities in alignment with Evergreen’s execution framework
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field
