Altria is seeking an Associate Manager to join the Customer Supply Chain – Strategy and Systems Infrastructure team. In this role, you will build strong cross-functional relationships, develop business strategies, and design infrastructure to support the operating companies' products and distribution channels.
Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise and relationships across assigned operating companies and/or business segments and influence business initiatives
- Understand and translate operating company initiatives into order-to-cash system designs, and lead implementation of these designs to deliver for the business
- Own, manage, and streamline business critical order-to-cash master data and processes within assigned operating companies and/or business segments
- Influence and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment and deliver results
- Identify, evaluate, and implement enhancements to order-to-cash systems to increase simplicity, efficiency, and automation
- Lead cross functional project initiatives, including planning, testing, and implementation
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by regularly assessing processes for opportunities to automate, simplify or optimize
- Develop and maintain clear comprehensive documentation for new and existing processes to ensure clarity and consistency
- Identify and troubleshoot system issues, develop solutions, and implement preventive measures to avoid future occurrences
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to support individual and team development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required or relevant supply chain/logistics 4+ years job experience required
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain management processes and systems
- Proven experience managing projects and delivering results
- Hands‑on experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including setup and functional use
- Strong business acumen with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels and functions. Demonstrates an understanding of broader business strategies and how the role contributes to enterprise priorities
