Veriforce is a recognized leader in delivering comprehensive supply chain risk management solutions. As a Sales Development Representative, you will generate high-quality opportunities for the Outside Sales team by engaging with prospective customers and qualifying their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and engage new prospects through cold calling, email outreach, and networking
- Conduct targeted prospecting within assigned territories to feed the Outside Sales funnel
- Perform research using tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Google, and industry resources to identify ideal customer profiles and buyer personas
- Respond quickly to inbound leads from Marketing campaigns and website inquiries
- Qualify prospects by understanding their goals, challenges, timelines, and buying authority
- Clearly articulate Veriforce’s value proposition tailored to each role, use case, or industry
- Generate interest, handle early-stage objections, and educate prospects on our platform and services
- Schedule high‑quality introductory discovery/qualification meetings for Outside Sales
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on territory plans, campaign execution, and go‑to‑market initiatives
- Log all activities, notes, and prospect intelligence in Salesforce to ensure high‑quality data and visibility for the broader team
- Participate in weekly planning and review sessions with the Sales Development Manager
- Participate in weekly pipeline‑generation syncs with Sales & Marketing
- Participate in territory or vertical strategy calls as needed
- Meet or exceed monthly qualified meeting and opportunity quotas
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, curiosity, and resilience
- Ability to build rapport quickly and ask great discovery questions
- Motivated by goals, metrics, and personal growth
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Previous SDR or sales experience a plus, but not required
