The Business Development Representative will generate new sales opportunities, strategize with sales executives, and engage with target accounts to understand their business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities
- Strategize with top-producing sales executives on specific vertical industry expertise
- Develop and execute outbound prospecting campaigns through email and outbound phone calls
- Engage executives in target prospect accounts to understand business operations and vendor management issues
- Orchestrate discussions with senior executives on business need and escalate to assigned Account Executive for closing
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
- Event participation (i.e., industry events, trade shows, etc.)
Requirements:
- AA/AS degree
- Previous BDR/SDR or outbound-focused sales preferred
- A commanding desire to learn and succeed in consultative selling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to influence others
- Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn for prospecting & social selling
- Desire to work in a competitive and fast-paced environment
- Problem solver with effective persuasion skills
- Work independently in a remote setting
- BA/BS degree
- Education Curriculum Sales Experience
- Prior experience in B2B marketing is a plus
- Experience selling in software/SaaS Solutions or other related tech spaces preferred
