Workiva is a company that provides a platform for managing and analyzing data. They are seeking a Product Marketing Intern to support the Product Marketing team by analyzing go-to-market performance and identifying business opportunities, while conducting research on competitor behavior and building buyer insights.
Responsibilities:
- Compile analyses and financial models on customer trends and historical data to support decision-making
- Lead the development and execution of ad-hoc analysis to support data-driven pricing initiatives
- Conduct periodic analysis on the performance of existing products (e.g., pricing, adoption trend, usage)
- Quantify and estimate market sizes, identifying key players and market trends
- Design new creative analytics and visualizations to help senior management gain deeper insights into performance
- Perform in-depth analysis of go-to-market performance (win / loss analysis, etc.) to identify areas for improvement
- Support the development and curation of marketing collateral by conducting research
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Management, Business Analytics, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or related field of study
- Experience with standard office equipment and software packages, including spreadsheet and word processing programs
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
- Possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with experience creating presentations and content through academic, internship, or extracurricular projects
- Be self-motivated with a strong propensity for action, results, continuous improvement, and a demonstrated curiosity and learning mindset
- Work successfully in a high-energy, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment, with interest in go-to-market strategy, storytelling, and positioning
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously under pressure
- Exhibit customer-centric thinking, with a strong interest in understanding buyer needs, pain points, and real-world use cases
