Affordable Housing Market Manager (Remote California)

Banner Bank is a well-established financial institution with a strong commitment to community engagement and employee experience. They are seeking an Affordable Housing Market Manager to build relationships and structure financing for affordable housing projects across California, playing a crucial role in supporting developers and impacting communities positively.

Responsibilities:

• Set the market strategy for affordable housing lending
• Originate CRA eligible affordable housing construction and permanent loans with nonprofit and for-profit affordable housing developer customers
• Develop and manage a portfolio of new and existing affordable housing relationships and negotiate loan terms and conditions
• Prepare and present credit analysis and recommendations on borrowing requests
• Conduct credit reviews to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Coach and mentor Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers
• Actively market a broad range of bank services to meet the complex needs of customers
• Create awareness of the Bank and its services through community engagement

Requirements:

• You have a bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
• You have 8+ years of experience in affordable housing lending and business development
• An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree
• You have a master's degree in Urban Planning or Business
