Kelly Services is a fast-growing logistics and shipping solutions team, seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to support growth through outbound lead generation. The role involves engaging with prospective customers in the eCommerce and retail sectors to optimize shipping solutions and enhance customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify high-potential businesses via outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn
- Engage and qualify leads by understanding their logistics and shipping challenges
- Schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives to advance qualified leads
- Manage and track outreach activities in a CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce)
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and segment targeting
- Build and nurture a high-quality sales pipeline
Requirements:
- 2+ years of sales or business development experience
- Consistent record of measurable over-achievement in previous roles
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn about the logistics and shipping industry
- Strong desire to build a career in sales/business development
- High degree of ownership, perseverance, and self-motivation
- Experience in logistics or shipping solutions is a plus
