The role involves maintaining communication with end users and stakeholders, resolving incidents, and assisting investment professionals during onboarding processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality user support for trading platforms, liaising with brokers, service providers, internal technology teams, and investment professionals
- Maintain clear and proactive communications with end users and stakeholders during business-as-usual and business-impacting incidents
- Follow incidents through to resolution, and ensure documentation is thorough enough for post-incident analysis
- Build trust with users and manage their expectations around timelines and milestones
- Assist investment professionals during onboarding processes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of application support experience within the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of order management workflows
- Exceptional communications skills, including the ability to translate trading workflows and technical issues into clear, concise business language
- Basic proficiency with Linux and experience scripting in Python or Bash
- Ability to multitask, including the ability to triage and prioritize various issues in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
