Questex is a leading global events, media, and business information company, and they are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their Healthcare and Life Sciences group. The role involves identifying and assigning sales leads, qualifying leads, scheduling calls, and proactively seeking new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Work to identify and assign inbound sales leads
- Qualify and score leads through dedicated outreach and meetings
- Schedule and assist in introductory calls
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market - research competitive websites and events for leads
- Partner with sales team, research and identify key background information for sales prospects
- Generate new leads, nurture warm prospects and find new potential sales outlets
- Utilize Salesforce, social media, cold calling, and email to engage with leads
Requirements:
- Minimum 1- 2 years' experience in B2B digital media sales experience
- Excellent presentation, writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- A strong sense of organization with strict attention to detail
- Ability to listen, adapt, and think quickly on your feet
- Most importantly, a positive attitude, energetic work ethic and desire to work on a winning team
