They are seeking an Architectural Design Program Manager to manage store design changes, enhance store designs, and communicate effectively across the organization regarding design execution strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Maximize the development of internal talent through measurable performance coaching on a regular calendar basis, performance reviews and presenting measurable developmental opportunities
- Leads and manages all store design change request throughout the store design lifecycle of Creation/Approval, Monitoring/Adjustments to Plan/Reporting, Implementation/Acceptance, and Closure/Post Mortem Reviews
- Provides expert advice & makes quality decisions as a brand abassador that are respectful of brand guidelines and achieve company goals which affect business operations
- Manages communication through systems & tools to proactively and effectively inform cross-functional teams and stakeholders of changes requrest, requirements, and submission deadlines related to store designs
- Leads cross-functional Change Management Team meetings to faciliate open communication, define priorities and milestone, and support resolutions that meet the unique requirements of each change request
- Informs management of progress as scheduled and/or on a need-to-know basis and drives solutions to ensure project completion
- Drive, plan, and track the strategic release of store design changes by keeping momentum in check to ensure a timely flow of deliverables
- Perform cost benefit analysis and reporting as needed to aid in decision making
- Work closely with architecture team to coordinate work efforts across departments to ensure project success
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction or similar field required
- Minimum 5 years project management or engineering experience required
- Minimum 5 years cost benefit analysis required
- Minimum 5 years experience with construction schedules and retail rollout projects & building prototype releases preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience collaborating with cross-functional partners & key stakeholders including architects, engineers, designers, construction, marketing, real estate, category leads, operations, procurement, and vendors preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- PMP certification preferred
