Affinity Solutions is the leading consumer purchase insights company, providing a complete view of consumer spending across brands. They are seeking a Director of Product Management to drive the development and launch of a new self-serve BI platform, focusing on delivering data analytic solutions for marketing use cases.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and define a world-class BI platform designed to help marketers and their partners optimize outcomes and build engagement with their customer base
- Manage the product lifecycle, from ideation all the way through to build and enhancement; provide recommendations and actively contribute to ongoing improvement, innovation, and future growth potential of the product
- Directly engage with existing and prospective clients to gather feedback on their BI platform use cases to ensure our platform targets the highest priority problems and provides effective solutions
- Define product requirements, create comprehensive product documentation, and establish clear roadmaps so that internal and external stakeholders are clear on short-term and long-term goals
- Work closely with senior product leaders and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering and marketing to ensure understanding of effort level, resource needs, and dependencies required for effective planning and predictable delivery
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to maximize the ROI on product and engineering efforts
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of product management experience at an ad tech company or media/advertising company with strong first-party data assets
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience building user-friendly applications and platforms for media measurement, audience activation, and optimization
- Experience working with consumer-based transactional data and building data products, preferably for ad tech use cases
- Track record of successful product delivery from inception to launch
- Demonstrated understanding of complex data problems, ability to craft analytical solutions, and experience working with large data sets
- Comfort working with engineers on deeply technical topics; able to understand the interplay between business requirements and technical capabilities and effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working with and leading cross-functional groups including Sales, Account Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists and Analysts
