Playlist is building a platform for intentional living, connecting people with inspiring experiences in fitness and wellness. They are seeking an experienced Group Product Manager to lead consumer growth and engagement strategy at ClassPass, overseeing vision and execution while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with company goals and customer needs
- Drive roadmap prioritization using value-vs-effort frameworks to maximize impact and time to market
- Balance near-term delivery with long-term strategic investments
- Oversee the product lifecycle, from ideation through launch and post-release optimization
- Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure feasibility, quality, and timely delivery
- Use tools such as Notion, Confluence, Jira, and other internal platforms to drive transparency, collaboration, and documentation across teams
- Leverage customer insights, data, and market trends to guide product direction
- Foster a deep understanding of the needs on both sides of a consumer and wellness business marketplace
- Partner with UX and research to ensure products are intuitive, efficient, and easy to use
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers, ensuring they deliver measurable impact
- Promote a data-driven, outcome-oriented product culture
- Ensure the team follows best practices in product management and documentation, driving consistency and clarity across initiatives
- Encourage cross-functional alignment between product, engineering, design, payments, marketing, and customer success
- Communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to executive leadership and key customers
- Build strong relationships with partner businesses, gathering feedback to guide roadmap decisions
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure successful product positioning and launches
Requirements:
- 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years leading and managing PMs
- A strong track record building high quality consumer products
- Deep experience with consumer mobile apps and consumer growth and engagement funnel optimization
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define, query, and interpret data independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience partnering across functions and with data science
- Sharp product intuition grounded in user feedback and data
- Experience working in agile, full-stack product teams from discovery through delivery
- Comfort using modern product tools like Notion, Confluence, Jira, Figma, and Miro
