Univar Solutions is a leading global distributor of chemicals and ingredients essential to health and safety. The Sales Account Manager II is responsible for driving volume and DGP growth for BCS products by managing a defined territory and executing the BCD sales strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Actively manage a territory and interact with key internal and external business associates including their Sales Director, Product Management, other Verticals and the Shared Service (Customer Service/Ops) team to efficiently and effectively support and fulfill our customer needs
- Sells deep into accounts by developing multiple contacts at various levels of management and functional groups
- Sell the Univar Value Proposition
- Ensures prospects and customers are properly qualified, including safety and environmental performance, and financial worthiness
- Maintains adequate pipeline to ensure Churn (new business vs. lost business) outperforms territory goals
- Utilizes discretion with company funds for entertainment and travel as outlined in the Company Travel and Expense policy
- Ability to identify, aggregate and report on all BCD product opportunities
- Owns and executes on Annual Volume and DGP goals
- Is focused on marketing volume of regional Chlor Alkali plants
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience
- In-depth knowledge of chemical distribution business
- Minimum 10 year sales and marketing experience, preferably in chlor-alkali and/or sulfur markets
- Demonstrated success driving sales growth
- Expert relationship builder both externally and internally
- Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
