Sketchy is a company focused on transforming clinical education through innovative approaches. They are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead B2C growth initiatives across various channels, develop targeted messaging for different learner segments, and build sustainable growth strategies within healthcare student communities.
Responsibilities:
- Own B2C growth across paid, lifecycle, ambassador, organic, and event channels
- Prioritize high-impact initiatives and build sustainable acquisition and retention engines within healthcare student communities
- Plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across Meta and Google (with room to test new platforms)
- Manage budgets with clear ROI accountability
- Develop differentiated positioning for med, NP, and PA students
- Translate product features into compelling value propositions and marketing assets
- Own onboarding, engagement, and retention campaigns across email and in-app channels
- Build and optimize automated lifecycle flows
- Execute student-facing events and conference activations
- Build and test scalable programs, including ambassador initiatives, influencer partnerships, referrals, and organic growth tactics
- Track performance across channels and make data-driven investment decisions
- Partner with product and content teams to align messaging and share user insights
- Manage vendors and communicate results clearly across teams
Requirements:
- 4–7 years of marketing experience with demonstrated success in growth/performance marketing for consumer products
- Proven track record managing paid media budgets ($50K–$300K annually) with measurable ROI
- Experience with lifecycle/email marketing and marketing automation
- Experience marketing to niche B2C audiences (students, professionals in training, or tight-knit communities preferred)
- Strong product intuition and experience partnering closely with product teams
- Ability to develop differentiated messaging for distinct audience segments
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable working in Google Analytics and evaluating CAC, LTV, and funnel metrics
- Excellent writing and communication skills across formats (ads, emails, landing pages, decks)
- Self-starter mentality with strong ownership and comfort building processes from scratch
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and a fast-changing startup environment
- Background in edtech, healthcare, or student-focused products
- Familiarity with healthcare education (medical school, NP programs, PA programs)
- Experience in a growth-stage startup environment (Seed to Series B)
