About this role
Alpha Hub is a subsidiary of Konzortia Capital, focused on transforming private capital markets through innovative technology. They are seeking a Full Stack Developer to lead the engineering execution of their MVP, coordinating a team and ensuring technical readiness for the platform launch.
Responsibilities:
- Own technical architecture for Alpha Hub’s MVP: backend, AI, data pipelines, and integration with UI
- Guide backend framework decisions (e.g. Django, Node.js), database schema design, API architecture (REST/GraphQL), and DevOps setup (CI/CD, Docker, cloud)
- Oversee implementation of user management, profile models, authentication/authorization systems, and core marketplace features
- Coordinate initial prototyping and implementation of Alpha-IQ’s MVP feature (e.g., startup scoring, matchmaking, or analysis)
- Manage AI/data team to deliver training data preparation, model experimentation, OpenAI or ML model integrations, and performance testing
- Ensure backend structure supports AI/ML integration and future expansion
- Manage sprints and execution timelines, ensuring delivery of monthly milestones aligned with Alpha Hub’s pre-UI MVP roadmap
- Lead sprint planning, retrospectives, task allocation, and backlog grooming
- Act as technical mentor and unblocker for the dev team, including backend, frontend, data, and integration engineers
- Track delivery against OKRs, report progress to leadership, and ensure cross-functional alignment
- Oversee implementation of test coverage (unit, integration, and E2E), API documentation (Swagger/Postman), and test harnesses
- Ensure seamless integration between backend, frontend scaffolding, and AI microservices
- Work ahead with frontend engineers to ensure frontend readiness as soon as UI designs are handed off
- Translate business requirements into technical execution plans
- Serve as liaison between business, design, and engineering teams
- Coordinate backend support for frontend team during UI integration phase
Requirements:
- Deep experience with full-stack web architecture (Python/Django or Node.js, PostgreSQL/MongoDB, REST/GraphQL APIs)
- Proficient in API design, DevOps (Docker, GitHub Actions, CI/CD), and cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Familiarity with AI/ML fundamentals and model deployment pipelines (OpenAI API, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.)
- Solid understanding of data models, caching strategies, microservices (if needed), and MVP-first system design
- Experience as a startup Tech Lead or Engineering Manager, especially in an MVP or 0-to-1 product context
- Expertise in agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery management
- Strong project management skills—ability to scope, prioritize, and adapt with urgency
- Proven ability to communicate clearly across business, design, and engineering stakeholders
- Able to mentor engineers across specialties and foster a high-performance culture
- Comfortable balancing speed and quality in a lean environment
- 4+ years of hands-on development experience, including team leadership
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or engineering management role
- Experience with AI integration in production products (bonus if involving GPT, LLMs, or recommender systems)
- Familiarity with startup investment platforms, private equity tech, or marketplaces is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent real-world experience)
