Viral Nation specializes in building social-first ecosystems for brands to connect with the modern consumer journey. They are seeking a dynamic Sr. HR Business Partner to support revenue-generating teams by fostering a high-performing environment and working closely with leadership on key People initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary HRBP escalation point for complex ER, leaves/accommodations, and manager coaching for US client groups
- Serve as the point of contact for all US employees, maintaining knowledge of the company’s benefits, programs and policies
- Act as a SME on US labor laws and best practices, advising leadership and team where necessary
- Work directly with management across assigned department to provide HR guidance where appropriate
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues alongside management and under the guidance of the Head of People & Culture
- Oversee and manage US leaves of absence, ensuring compliance in a multi-state environment
- Engaging with heads of department, effectively communicating changes to policy, programs and happenings across the organization
- Partnering with designated department leaders, understanding associate needs and deploying HR interventions
- Own/partner on US payroll/PEO vendor governance and compliance tooling maintenance
- Resolving employee grievances
- Supporting process owners to drive necessary actions with the assigned associates to encourage participation / ensure compliance
- Collaborating with other HR stakeholders (Talent Acquisition/Finance) as needed
- Providing timely, accurate and meaningful data for management reports
- Contribute towards company culture initiatives, staff wellness and development program
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in HR with prior Business Partner experience supporting go-to-market/sales teams in ideally in high-growth, fast-paced, global environments
- Excellent collaborator in partnering with the extended People team on talent and culture development
- Proven ability to take initiative, get things done, and prioritize
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfort presenting People-related initiatives to the organization
- Confidence in openly negotiating and influencing others, demonstrating courage and the ability to effectively push back with leaders with data-driven and logical rationale
