Sysdig is a company dedicated to securing innovation in the cloud. The Staff Product Manager will lead the platform experience layer of Sysdig's CNAPP, defining UX and workflow patterns while collaborating across teams to enhance product adoption and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the platform experience layer of Sysdig's CNAPP. Define reusable UX and workflow patterns (navigation, configuration, policy management, onboarding, reporting) that bring coherence to a broad and deep security platform
- Study the workflows of multiple security practitioner personas (SOC analysts, cloud security engineers, compliance leads, DevOps teams), find the structural commonalities, and turn those into platform conventions that scale across product domains
- Define and lead platform-level metrics: coverage, data ingestion health, configuration correctness, time-to-value, and adoption
- Instrument the product so teams can detect adoption friction before it becomes a blocker. Diagnose where customers struggle and close the gap between deployment and sustained value
- Lead by influence across engineering teams spanning multiple application domains to ensure new capabilities are built with the platform, not around it
- Partner with design, product marketing, customer success, and solutions engineering to reduce complexity from first deployment through steady-state operations
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent on platform, infrastructure, or cross-cutting product work (not solely feature-level PM roles)
- Experience in cloud security or adjacent domains (CNAPP, CSPM, CDR, vulnerability management, CIEM, or workload protection). You do not need to be a domain expert in all of these, but you need to stay up to date with industry trends and find the patterns across them
- Experience working across multiple engineering teams simultaneously
- Fluency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration
- Experience defining product-level metrics and using instrumentation and data to make decisions
- A platform thinker. You default to 'how do we make this work everywhere' before 'how do we solve this one case.'
- Strong design sensibility. You care about the quality and consistency of the experience, not just the feature set
- You will touch every part of the product. You will need to context-switch constantly and prioritize ruthlessly
- You will work with teams that do not report to you. You need to earn trust, make compelling cases, and hold the line on platform standards
- Ownership mentality. You drive things to completion and do not wait to be told what to do next
