CUDDLY is a mission-driven platform focused on helping animal rescues and shelters. They are looking for a full-time Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own and optimize their email marketing program across various audiences, driving revenue and retention through strategic segmentation and campaign execution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage segmentation strategies across donor, subscriber, and DTC audiences
- Build targeted flows (welcome, winback, lapsed donor, post-purchase, subscription churn prevention, etc.)
- Personalize content by behavior, value tier, and engagement
- Partner with leadership on high-value donor segmentation initiatives
- Own weekly campaign calendar
- Write or collaborate on compelling subject lines and content
- Build emails in Klaviyo (or equivalent ESP)
- Ensure flawless QA and deployment
- Optimize deliverability and inbox placement
- Own email channel revenue targets
- Analyze campaign performance (AOV, conversion, retention, speed to 2nd donation, etc.)
- Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, cadence, and segmentation
- Develop dashboards and reporting for leadership
- Work with creative on asset needs
- Partner with product and fundraising teams on key campaign priorities
- Align email messaging with paid media and site promotions
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years experience in email or lifecycle marketing
- Proven revenue ownership in email channel
- Deep experience with segmentation and behavioral targeting
- Experience with Klaviyo or similar ESP
- Strong understanding of email analytics & attribution
- Ability to write clear, compelling, conversion-driven copy
- Experience in DTC, e-commerce, subscription, or nonprofit fundraising
- Experience managing multi-audience lifecycle ecosystems
- Familiarity with retention and churn mitigation strategies
