Drake Software is a leading provider of tax filing software that simplifies the complexities of tax season. They are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Senior Project & Program Manager to oversee creative projects, manage stakeholder communications, and drive cross-functional programs to ensure timely delivery of creative work.
Responsibilities:
- Own creative intake & triage
- Serve as the primary point of contact for creative requests across channels (paid social, CRM, product pages, etc.)
- Ensure requests include clear objectives, requirements, timelines, and approvals before work starts
- Plan & schedule work
- Build and maintain project schedules, assigning work across designers, copywriters, and other contributors
- Balance priorities and capacity to keep the team focused on the most important work
- Drive projects to completion
- Track projects from kickoff through delivery, proactively identifying risks, clarifying dependencies, and removing roadblocks
- Keep stakeholders informed with concise, timely updates on status, risks, and decisions needed
- Coordinate stakeholders
- Navigate a cross-functional environment that includes channel owners, product, legal, and leadership
- Facilitate alignment on scope, timing, and trade-offs when priorities shift
- Improve process & ways of working
- Help refine and document workflows, templates, and checklists for creative intake, reviews, and approvals
- Look for opportunities to streamline recurring work and make it easier for teams to do their best work
- Lead cross-functional programs
- For key initiatives (e.g., a new product feature or campaign), coordinate the plan across teams and channels, ensuring the right work happens at the right time
Requirements:
- 5–8+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably supporting creative, marketing, or digital teams
- Proven experience managing multiple projects at once, from intake through delivery, in a cross-functional environment
- Experience working closely with creative teams (design, copy, content), marketing/channel owners, legal counsel and leadership teams
- Proficiency with project/work management tools (e.g., Asana, Workfront, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar)
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Project management certification is a plus but not required
