Terex Corporation is a global leader in manufacturing material handling equipment, and they are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join their Franna Brand team. This role involves leading the establishment of a new business unit and driving the expansion of Pick and Carry Machines across the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously optimize the sales and marketing strategy, including go-to-market approaches and annual business planning for dealer accounts
- Identify, appoint, and develop new dealer accounts while ensuring compliance with company standards and providing ongoing support and training
- Work directly with major accounts and rental companies, providing product education, technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction through regular communication
- Conduct market research, identify new opportunities, gather feedback, and communicate insights to the engineering and marketing teams for product improvement
- Secure sales orders to meet targets, ensure compliance with company policies and local laws, and maintain updated and formal contracts for all dealer accounts
Requirements:
- Proven experience in new business development, product marketing, and sales, particularly within a dealer network, ideally in the Lifting business (Pick & Carry Cranes)
- Strong technical knowledge of equipment, including sales and application expertise, with a track record of successful negotiation and sales closure
- Demonstrated ability in commercial thinking, innovative problem-solving, and achieving results-oriented goals
- Flexibility to travel abroad for visiting manufacturing sites in India and Australia, as well as partners in Canada
