Hazelcast is a leading company that provides a unified real-time data platform for businesses. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to identify and create new qualified leads for their sales team, manage inbound leads, and coordinate efforts with sales counterparts.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve/exceed monthly metrics (ex: qualified meetings/opportunities created)
- Prospect, educate, qualify and develop target accounts
- Respond to inbound customer leads and develop these accounts to create opportunities
- Successfully manage and overcome customer objections
- Ability to call within all levels of an organization and identify business needs for Hazelcast solutions
- Liaise with Marketing to drive attendance to, and follow up on events such as training and conferences
- Utilization of CRM and communication tools (Salesforce, Outreach)
- Utilization of Internet research tools for prospecting (LinkedIn, Seamless.Ai, Zoominfo)
Requirements:
- At least, 1 year of relevant professional sales experience
- Candidates should have sales development or related experience in a business-to-business environment
- Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication skills, highly confident, able to work diligently and independently, and goal-oriented
- Fast learner with strong technical aptitude
- Must have high ethics, integrity, and humility and have the desire to be part of a rapidly growing organization
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of success in cold calling, deal qualification, and goal achievement preferred
- Experience in speaking with a Line of Business leaders and C-level executives
- Industry knowledge a plus
- Experience in software start-up and competitive software sales environments preferred
