Sabel Systems Technology Solutions is a digital engineering and Defense technology partner, seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to align human capital initiatives with organizational goals. The HRBP will provide strategic advice, workforce planning, and compliance expertise to business leaders in a high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR partner to business leaders, aligning people’s strategies with operational priorities and growth objectives
- Collaborate with department heads to understand business goals and develop integrated HR strategies that drive organizational success
- Provide consultative guidance on workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and leadership development
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OFCCP, EEO, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Advise and coach leaders on employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions
- Support organizational design, change management efforts, and workforce transitions such as reorganizations, onboarding, and offboarding
- Lead and support performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, mid-year reviews, annual evaluations, and development planning
- Proactively identify workforce and business needs, partnering with Centers of Excellence and cross-functional stakeholders to implement effective solutions
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide data-driven insights and recommendations that enhance organizational performance and employee experience
- Partner with the Director of HRBPs to implement and sustain Human Capital Management (HCM) initiatives aligned with corporate growth plans
- Lead or contribute to HR initiatives and projects focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Supervise and mentor other HR team members as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or consultative HR capacity
- At least 6+ years of HR experience supporting government contracting organizations
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and organizational development frameworks
- Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and build trusted partnerships with leaders and stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated capability to thrive in dynamic, evolving environments, applying strategic thinking and sound judgment to address complex workforce and business challenges
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively resolve conflict and solve problems
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced setting
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and organizational integration efforts
- Professional HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)
