Central Garden & Pet is a leading consumer goods company in the pet and garden industries, seeking an eCommerce Marketing Manager to drive integrated planning and cross-channel campaign execution for DoMyOwn.com. This role involves collaborating with marketing team members and stakeholders to execute campaigns, manage agency partners, and leverage data for informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the integrated marketing calendar across customer acquisition, retention and lifecycle marketing, site experience, content, and creative
- Translate business goals and strategy into actionable marketing plans
- Set priorities, remove blockers, lead status and performance check-ins, and drive execution
- Partner with digital marketing team and internal stakeholders (Digital Product, Engineering, Consumer Care, Buying and Inventory, Catalog) to execute successful campaigns
- Manage paid digital marketing agency and vendor partners setting strategy, briefs, budgets, and success metrics, improve and optimize campaigns, and set measurable performance outcomes across channels
- Lead and optimize integrated campaigns across channels to ensure consistent messaging, creative, offers, timing, branding, and customer journeys
- Coordinate key channel execution including onsite merchandising and promotions, email & SMS, search engine optimization (SEO), paid media (PPC, search, shopping, Pmax, retargeting, social, programmatic), affiliate marketing, owned social media, creative, and content
- Identify growth opportunities across traffic, conversion, AOV, category performance, cohorts, promotions, CAC/LTV, ROAS/ROI, and other KPIs
- Build and maintain reporting, dashboards, and scorecards that surface insights, enabling data-driven decision making and faster, better execution across the team
- Strengthen test-and-learn approach across the site and marketing channels; ensure measurement and post-test learnings that drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
- 5+ years in ecommerce, growth marketing, or digital marketing; ecommerce retail and DTC experience preferred
- Proven success leading complex cross functional B2B and B2C campaigns and programs
- Experience managing ecommerce sites, including merchandising and promotions
- Demonstrated experience managing digital marketing channels, including paid search / CPC, SEO, affiliate, social, email, video, display, programmatic
- Hands-on experience managing paid media (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, display, programmatic, remarketing)
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with GA4 (or similar), tag management platforms (Google Tag Manager), and data visualization or dashboarding tools (eg, DOMO, Tableau, Power BI)
- Ability to translate data into prioritized actions and clear direction
- Experience managing agencies and vendors with measurable outcomes
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and process-building skills
- Category experience in a seasonal, education driven commerce role. Pest Control or Lawn Care category experience a plus
- Experience with ecommerce platforms and tools, CMS, merchandising, personalization and recommendation applications, and experimentation or CRO platforms
- Hands on experience with Marketing Tools, including Search Console, Merchant Center, and data feed management tools
