Morae Global is a dynamic, high-growth organization providing integrated solutions to corporate law departments and law firms. They are seeking an experienced eDiscovery Project Manager to lead eDiscovery workflows, manage client relationships, and ensure efficient project delivery while maintaining high quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee eDiscovery projects from initiation to completion, ensuring objectives, timelines, and budgets are met. Candidate will collaborate with the Data Management team on large requests but will also handle small processing and export requests from Everlaw and DISCO
- Manage the day-to-day operations of eDiscovery matters, including resourcing, client billing, and reporting. Coordinate with cross-functional and offshore Morae teams to ensure smooth execution
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance, training, and fostering their professional growth
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and delivering exceptional service. Build and nurture client relationships, demonstrating Morae’s capabilities and developing proposals for new clients
- Contribute to Morae’s overall service excellence by developing strategies for process improvement and aligning with industry best practices
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on eDiscovery workflows, technology, and processes, providing thought leadership and guidance to both internal teams and clients
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years in eDiscovery, including experience in project management and team leadership
- A bachelor's degree (qualified lawyer or Law Degree preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of eDiscovery tools, including Relativity, DISCO and Everlaw, with proven experience that demonstrates the ability to learn new technologies
- Working knowledge of forensic collections workflows, including scheduling collections and coordinating client meetings
- Strong client-facing skills, with experience in managing client expectations and delivering tailored solutions
- Proven ability to resource, manage, and motivate large teams under tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A sharp eye for detail, coupled with the ability to identify trends and strategic opportunities
- This role is fully remote with no in-office requirements
- Qualified lawyer or Law Degree preferred
- Preference for candidates that can work West Coast hours and limited weekend work may be necessary
