RegScale is an innovative startup disrupting the compliance industry with its CCM platform that enhances GRC outcomes. The Senior Solutions Engineer will play a critical role in engaging with prospects and existing customers to improve their compliance and risk programs, while also supporting pipeline generation and solution workshops.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in pipeline generation activities by working with prospects to identify challenges in their GRC program
- Demonstrate RegScale’s product ability to meet challenges within the GRC program
- Develop and lead Solution Workshops with prospects and existing customers to define business objectives, quantify business benefits, and determine the functional requirements to achieve them
- Conduct Proof of Value demonstrating the overall value of the RegScale product to prospects
- Organized and professional resource that can take technical challenges and map them back to business problems
- Support and enable the partner community by engaging directly with technical resources
- Facilitate product feedback discussion with product management and engineering organizations to help provide the voice of the market
- Assist in maturing and developing the Solution Engineering function at the discretion of the SE leadership team
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen and is subject to a background check and unannounced drug testing requirements
- Proven track record of solution engineering work of 5+ years
- Comfortable with interacting with command line utilities
- Ability to interact with RESTful APIs and interact with JSON
- Domain experience in cybersecurity industry
- Able to collaborate effectively across the organization and with external stakeholders
- Experience successfully working with senior (C-level) executives to achieve specific outcomes
- Team player who thrives in cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Marketing
- Must be a self-starter who works well on diverse and blended teams
- Comfort level with various industry specific frameworks, including but not limited to: PCI, SOC 2, SOX, DORA, NERC – CIP, CRI, ISO 27001, CMMC, CSRMC, etc
- 8+ years experience as a Risk and Compliance practitioner and/or 8+ years experience in presales engineering within the GRC / Information Security market
- A strong network of relationships in Security
- Expertise in driving results and outcomes while solving complex business problems, as an individual contributor
- Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to partner effectively with C-Suite, VP, and Director-level contacts in addition to the day-to-day users of technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Business, or related field or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with Security Operations Tooling, Application Security, Cloud Security, Network Security
- Former experience within a cyber security GRC vendor
- Familiarity with scripting languages; Python, Go, Bash, a plus
