The Ladder Method is a leading executive-functioning and academic-coaching company that teaches students how to learn. They are seeking a motivated, part-time Business Development Representative to drive company growth through strategic partnerships with schools, rehabs, hospitals, and other businesses that align with their mission nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new revenue by identifying, building relationships, and closing school and district partnerships
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads aligned with growth targets
- Develop customized partnership proposals that meet each school's needs and business objectives
- Collaborate with leadership to refine market strategy, pricing, and new partnerships
- Maintain accurate HubSpot records and report on outreach and conversions
- Meet or exceed quarterly goals for growth, revenue, and partnership targets
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or revenue-generating roles
- Proven track record in consultative or solution-based selling
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills
- Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable owning results in a remote setting
- Familiarity with the K-12 ecosystem and student-support programs (executive functioning, SEL, or enrichment)
- Confident using CRMs, managing pipelines, and running virtual meetings
- Preference will be given to candidates located in New York or Austin
