Applause is a leading provider of software testing and UX research solutions, recognized as a Top Workplace. The Content Marketing Manager will create impactful content to drive demand and educate the market, while also managing webinars and leveraging social media and video content.
Responsibilities:
- Write to drive demand. Plan and produce high-impact content—landing pages, emails/nurtures, blogs, customer stories, ebooks/white papers, reports, and ad copy—mapped to personas (product, engineering, QA) and funnel stages
- Own webinars end-to-end. Build topics, recruit speakers (customers, SMEs, partners), create decks and promos, host and moderate live sessions, and turn recordings into always-on assets
- Make video & social work harder. Script short-form videos, customer interview clips and product explainers; repurpose long-form into threads, carousels and clips; partner with Design to publish and promote polished assets
- Champion customer proof. Source, interview and write compelling case studies and speaker abstracts that highlight the importance of crowdtesting in our clients’ success. Support ABM outreach to target customers and prospects
- Measure and iterate. Track performance, A/B test headlines and CTAs, and share clear insights and next steps
- Scale what works. Build reusable templates, playbooks, AI prompts and distribution checklists so every asset gets maximum reach across email, paid, social, web and sales
Requirements:
- 5+ years in B2B content marketing (SaaS or services), ideally selling to enterprise buyers and technical personas (engineering, QA, product, dev)
- Exceptional writing with a portfolio that shows range: concise copy that converts and technical long-form work that educates
- Webinar experience—comfortable promoting, hosting and interviewing customers and industry experts
- Video + social fluency—able to brief or script short-form video, and adapt content natively for LinkedIn/X/YouTube
- Tools familiarity: GA4/analytics; CMS (Wordpress or equivalent); webinar platforms; social scheduling; generative AI and marketing automation
- Proven collaboration skills—confident interviewing senior stakeholders, distilling complex concepts, and working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Design and external agencies
- Degree: BA/BS in marketing, communications or related field (or equivalent experience)
