The HEOR Marketing Senior Manager is responsible for shaping and communicating the clinical and economic value of healthcare solutions, creating strategies for Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real World Evidence (RWE) to drive market development and adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Own the HEOR and RWE strategy for a priority product/portfolio across the full lifecycle, from pipeline to post‑market
- Develop prioritized evidence generation plans (e.g., RWE studies, economic models, patient‑reported outcomes, preference studies) and ensure timely delivery of high‑impact outputs
- Partner closely with clinical, medical affairs, regulatory, product management and product marketing teams to identify evidence needs, align on endpoints, and shape study designs
- Provide HEOR input into clinical programs and global product development plans to ensure endpoints and data streams support future value claims
- Translate clinical and economic evidence into field‑ready value assets: AMCP‑style dossiers, global value dossiers, budget‑impact and cost‑effectiveness models, value calculators, dashboards, and visual storytelling tools
- Tailor tools by stakeholder (e.g., hospital administrators/finance, clinicians, payers, IDN leaders) to support informed, customer‑specific decisions
- Deliver training, playbooks, and workshops to commercial and regional marketing teams to ensure confident, consistent value communication
- Identify unmet needs and value gaps to inform positioning, pricing corridors, and evidence priorities; support early market development by linking solutions to care delivery and financial outcomes (e.g., LOS, readmissions, throughput, workforce efficiency, safety)
- Contribute HEOR perspective to policy issues and external economic evaluations; partner with Public Policy/Health Economics on submissions and stakeholder engagement as needed
- Act as the HEOR champion within the segment; build strong relationships with senior leaders across commercial, medical, and strategy functions
- Influence portfolio strategy by highlighting opportunities for differentiation through value creation and by steering pipeline and post‑market investments toward high‑return evidence
- Monitor external trends in payer expectations, health technology assessment (HTA), value frameworks, and healthcare policy to proactively evolve value strategies and toolkits over time
- Provide scientific rigor and governance as a member of review committees (protocols, analyses, publications); ensure adherence to internal/external standards and ethical guidelines
- Coach and develop colleagues on HEOR methods, modeling, and evidence strategy; leverage internal and external partners/outsourcing to deliver plans efficiently
- Integrated HEOR/RWE plan with timelines, budgets, and prioritized studies
- Economic models, value calculators, and decision-support dashboards suitable for customer engagements
- Dossiers, publications, and conference materials (abstracts, posters, manuscripts) aligned to scientific and go‑to‑market needs
- Field enablement materials (training decks, objection handling, claims matrices) mapped to stakeholder journeys
- Periodic evidence impact reports linking HEOR outputs to market development, access wins, and commercial KPIs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Economics, Economics, Public Health, Health Policy, Business, or a related field
- 5 years in HEOR, outcomes research, pricing/reimbursement, market access, or portfolio value strategy
- Demonstrated expertise in economic modeling (cost‑effectiveness, budget impact), RWE, and preference studies
- Track record of peer‑reviewed publications, dossier development, and creation of customer‑facing HEOR tools that drive adoption
- Deep understanding of global healthcare systems (Public, IDNs/health systems, payers, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; proven ability to present to executive stakeholders and to simplify complex methods for non‑technical audiences
- Experience managing external vendors and budgets related to economic analysis or value tool development
- Demonstrated success working in matrixed environments, influencing across functions without direct authority

- Master's in health economics, epidemiology, outcomes research, health services research, public health, biostatistics, or related field
- 10+ years in HEOR, outcomes research, pricing/reimbursement, market access, or portfolio value strategy
- 5 or more years working in medical devices/diagnostics/digital health or adjacent healthcare domains
- Experience partnering closely with marketing and commercial teams to activate value strategies through launches and lifecycle programs
- Proficiency with HEOR/RWE toolsets (e.g., Excel, Power BI/Tableau for visualization)
