Mirantis is a Kubernetes-native AI infrastructure company that enables organizations to build and operate scalable infrastructure for AI and machine learning applications. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and developing the sales pipeline while working closely with Account Executives.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new sales leads through inbound efforts, with a focus on proactive follow-up with interested prospects
- Generate new sales leads through outbound phone and email prospecting and in close alignment with the sales team
- Schedule meetings and solution demos for the Account Executives
- Manage outbound leads process to maximize conversion and pipeline development
- Understand Mirantis’s offerings and competitive positioning to effectively communicate and apply them to the needs of a prospect
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity and prospect information in Salesforce: The #1 AI CRM
- Achieve and exceed monthly quotas and objectives
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of prior sales development, business development, prospecting or sourcing experience
- Ability to articulate technical capabilities in terms of business value
- A strong desire to learn a comprehensive software sales process
- Strong sense of urgency and motivation to meet and exceed aggressive goals
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A plus if you are hard-working, competitive, and professional as well as comfortable taking direction and feedback
- Experience in technology solutions, cloud, and Saas
- Experience with tools such as SFDC, Salesloft, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, 6sense etc
