Kava Haven is a rapidly growing brand in the functional non-alcoholic spirits category, seeking a Business Development Manager to accelerate wholesale growth. The role involves prospecting, engaging, qualifying, and closing new retail accounts nationwide, while collaborating with lead generation partners and maintaining CRM accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Execute daily outbound call outreach to retailers nationwide
- Engage and convert warm leads generated through outbound email campaigns
- Coordinate product samples and drive disciplined follow-up until a clear decision is reached
- Close new direct wholesale accounts and collaborate with distributor partners when applicable
- Reactivate dormant accounts and build density in key markets
- Support targeted territory expansion prior to distributor onboarding
- Maintain CRM accuracy and structured pipeline management
- Surface feedback from the field to inform sales strategy and merchandising decisions
Requirements:
- 2+ years of outbound sales experience (cold calling + email sequencing)
- Demonstrated history of generating and closing new business
- Comfortable executing high daily call activity
- Motivated by measurable targets and personal revenue ownership
- Highly disciplined with follow-up and CRM hygiene
- Energized by stepping into a full-cycle closing role
- Experience in beverage, alcohol, CPG, or adjacent industries is a plus — but not required
