Principal Engineer - Network

The Principal Network Engineer will oversee the operational aspects of the network, ensuring reliability, performance, and security while leading the Network Operations team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Network Operations team in managing and maintaining the network infrastructure
• Ensure the stability and performance of LAN/WAN environments
• Develop and implement network policies, procedures, and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues
• Collaborate with teams to support network-related projects
• Monitor network performance and implement improvements
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
• Ensure appropriate escalation and response to priority incidents
• Ensure redundancy and disaster recovery configurations are in place, coaching the team where needed
• Perform any other related tasks prioritized by the Network Services Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related fields, or equivalent experience and certifications
• 5+ years' experience
• High-level understanding or subject matter expert in SDWAN and routing
• Experience in network operations, with an understanding of LAN/WAN environments
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE)
