About this role
e-Business International Inc is focused on bringing the latest technology to the communities they serve. They are seeking a Wireless Network Engineer to install, monitor, and maintain an Evolved Packet Core and related systems to ensure proper operation of wireless network operations.
Responsibilities:
- Install, monitor, and maintain an Evolved Packet Core, virtual infrastructure, and ancillary systems
- Monitoring, testing, and maintaining software, hardware and wireless elements required to support a wireless network operation
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in an electronics technology discipline, or three to five years of related work experience in the Wireless industry with emphasis in two or more of the fields listed below
- LTE EPC (Ericsson)
- IMS for VoLTE & VoWiFi (Ericsson)
- Routing/Switching/MPLS (Nokia & Cisco)
- Virtualization (VMware, K8s, OpenStack)
- Ethernet Transport
- Translations/Signaling (SIGTRAN, SIP)
- Strong experience with Virtualization, Linux systems, and command line interface
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot very complex, mission-critical systems
- Strong understanding of L2, L3 (TCP/IP) and L4 (UDP/TCP)
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Proven ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately
- Ability to deliver in fast-paced, high-volume environment supporting aggressive targets
- Experience drawing/interpreting complex system diagrams
