Bottomline is a global leader in business payments and cash management, seeking an experienced Commercial Product Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for their Risk and Fraud Solutions segment. This role involves bridging product development, sales, marketing, and customer success to drive successful product launches and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Define product strategy and roadmap. Research, develop, position, and manage the Risk Solutions product lifecycle
- Develop and execute comprehensive commercialization plans to introduce new Risk Solutions offerings. Provide senior leadership with global pipeline reporting and key metrics to enable commercial success
- Develop clear, compelling value propositions that differentiate our Risk Solutions in the competitive Risk Technology landscape
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, briefings with analysts and customer interviews to identify optimal pricing models aligned with customer value and business goals
- Develop sales playbooks, pitch decks, and objection-handling guides
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to ensure sales teams, customer success, solution consulting and delivery teams all understand new features, benefits, and competitive positioning
- Partner with sales leadership to drive pipeline development and deal execution
- Collaborate with Customer Success to gather feedback and refine value propositions
- Help set priorities for development and ensure alignment on product execution
- Align with other Bottomline Product teams on feature development, messaging, solution packaging, and release timing
- Provide market-driven insights to influence the product roadmap
- Ensure customer and sales feedback is incorporated into ongoing product improvements
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in product commercialization, product marketing, or go-to-market strategy within B2B Fraud Detection and payments in a SaaS environment
- Strong understanding of the Banking Risk and Fraud space
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling new financial technology products or features
- Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis
- Ability to create and deliver effective Sales and Customer Success training programs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence internal stakeholders
- Ability to synthesize market data, customer insights, and business objectives into actionable commercialization strategies
- Familiarity with Fraud Detection technologies and the Banking Industry
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a technology-related field
- Background in SaaS-based payment platforms or B2B financial solutions in a fintech or regtech company highly preferred
