Mysterious is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to lead the strategic positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution for their product portfolio. The role involves translating product capabilities into compelling value propositions, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring effective market strategy execution.
Responsibilities:
- Own and refine product positioning, messaging, and narrative to clearly communicate differentiation and customer value
- Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategy for product launches, feature releases, and market expansions
- Partner closely with Product Management to influence roadmap decisions through market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence
- Develop buyer personas, target segments, and use-case frameworks to guide marketing and sales strategies
- Enable Sales with high-impact collateral, pitch decks, battle cards, and training that improve conversion rates
- Drive competitive analysis and market research to inform strategic decisions and strengthen positioning
- Collaborate with Demand Generation and Brand teams to ensure consistent messaging across campaigns and channels
- Establish pricing and packaging strategies in partnership with Product, Finance, and Revenue leadership
- Define and track product marketing KPIs, including adoption, win rates, pipeline influence, and launch performance
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product marketing team
- Act as a product evangelist through thought leadership, events, webinars, and executive presentations
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading product marketing strategy in high-growth organizations
- Deep expertise in positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution
- Strong understanding of SaaS or technology buying cycles and customer decision frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex products
- Data-driven mindset with experience measuring launch impact and market performance
- Demonstrated success partnering with Product and Sales teams
- Excellent leadership and team development capabilities
- Strong executive presence with outstanding communication and presentation skills
- High ownership mentality with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments
- 8–12+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Go-to-Market, or related leadership roles
- Experience within SaaS, enterprise technology, or product-led growth organizations
- Track record of successfully launching new products or entering new markets
- Experience shaping category narratives or repositioning products for growth
- Prior experience managing distributed or remote teams
