SQUID iQ is a pioneering healthcare technology company focusing on utilization management solutions for hospitals. The Director of Product Management will lead product development from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with customer needs and strategic goals while managing a product team to support company growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product development from conception to launch, using qualitative and quantitative metrics to calibrate progress and evaluate success against key metrics
- Assess core customer HTUM needs and priorities, often helping them sort through issues and requirements they had not clearly defined previously
- Partner with leadership team to develop product strategy, vision and use cases with customers using internal and external analysis that informs the creation of specific features and functionality for each IDN persona SQUID supports
- Distill business and user requirements to develop detailed, crisp user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture requirements
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet commercial, technical or strategic goals
- Create buy-in for the product vision, both internally and with key external partners
- Manage platform development prioritization and highlight trade-offs across customer experience, system performance and operational support requirements
- Help determine the implementation sequence of SQUID’s service for each customer
- Document, manage and enhance product roadmap and technical specs for the service delivery platform
- Build, expand and manage a product team to support company growth
Requirements:
- 5+ years of enterprise software product management experience
- Successful record of product development, delivery and management of innovative, scalable solutions for demanding enterprise customers in complex, dynamic markets
- Reputation for thoughtful, user-focused product insights and uncovering trends and optimization opportunities
- Keen tactical perspective and can effectively represent and synthesize ideas crisply for teammates and customers with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity and collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams in a highly demanding, entrepreneurial environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
