Newsela is a company that transforms real-world content into instructional material for K-12 classrooms. The SMB Sales Manager will manage the sales team for the SMB market segment, focusing on pipeline management, achieving revenue targets, and developing relationships with schools and districts.
Responsibilities:

- Your work will directly enable the business to strengthen our footprint, bringing our products to schools nationwide and providing time-saving approaches that allow educators to design customized learning for different levels of learners

Requirements:
- 3+ years of sales management experience
- Ability to support, train, and cultivate a culture of high performance
- Skill in creating regional sales strategies and successfully implementing those strategies
- Well versed in Salesforce
- Experience using sales tools and platforms to remotely manage and develop a team
- Strong sales leadership
- Enthusiastic appreciation for the benefits of a strong inter-departmental collaboration
