Senior Product Development Business Analyst

Prosperity Life is seeking a Senior Product Development Business Analyst to support product development initiatives for their annuity and life insurance portfolio. This role involves managing product requirements, documentation, and coordination across various departments to ensure timely product delivery and operational readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Preliminary Product Offering (PPO) documents that translate product concepts into structured specifications
• Support and contribute to Business Requirements Document (BRD) development, ensuring requirements are clear, complete, and aligned with approved product design
• Maintain requirements traceability and documentation accuracy throughout development, testing, launch, and post-launch changes
• Coordinate activities and information flow across Actuarial, Legal, Compliance, IT, Operations, and third-party administrators
• Support tollgate reviews, decision tracking, and approval coordination across the product development lifecycle
• Track risks, dependencies, and action items, escalating issues as needed to support delivery timelines
• Assist with contract development and administration activities, including drafting supporting documentation and coordinating reviews
• Track responses, approvals, and execution status, helping to resolve delays or outstanding items
• Support alignment between contract terms, product specifications, and implementation timelines
• Support coordination of regulatory filing activities, including tracking state filing and approval status
• Assist with responses to DOI inquiries and monitor approval timelines
• Support launch readiness and post-launch execution by maintaining product documentation, supporting operational questions, and coordinating updates or enhancements as products move into steady-state administration
• Identify opportunities to improve product development processes, documentation standards, and cross-functional coordination
• Contribute to the development of repeatable templates, tools, and institutional knowledge to support scalability

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of annuity and/or life insurance products, features, and regulatory requirements
• Experience in business analysis, product development, or product implementation within the insurance industry
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality business and technical documentation
• Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and with external partners
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
