
The Cage Cashier is responsible for safeguarding company assets while adhering to all company policies, departmental procedures, and applicable gaming regulations. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining accuracy in all financial transactions.
Provide courteous and efficient customer service in accordance with established standards.
Accurately process customer transactions, including exchanging chips and cash equivalents for cash.
Perform all cage functions with precision, including but not limited to:
Establishing and verifying customer credit lines.
Communicating credit information to appropriate personnel.
Executing pit fills and credits seamlessly.
Collaborate effectively with team members within the department and across other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain compliance with all internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Must be able to execute all cage cashier functions to include but not limited to:
Front Money Deposits/Withdrawals
Customer Incentives
Title 31
R/S ticket redemptions
Answer telephones
Travelers' checks
Issue Total Rewards cards
Wire transfers
Casino Credit Applications
Self-Redemption units
Chip redemptions
Check Cashing
Credit Card Cash Advance
Coupon redemption
Fast Cash redemption
Numerous bank accountabilities
Foreign currency
Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain a Gaming Sheriff’s card.
Ensure excellent guest service.
Always present oneself as an example of excellence to the department
Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to the departmental and company guidelines.
Protect company assets.
Supports cross-departmental needs as required.
Must have manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment to include but not limited to 10 key adding machines, PC computers, fax machine, photocopy machine.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand for long, extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift to 35 pounds.
Must be able to push/pull heavy carts on the casino floor.
Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at the assigned area.
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Must be able to work in moderate to loud noise conditions.
