Parts Sales Associate

Job Title: Counter Sales Representative

Department: Parts Department

Reports To: Parts Manager

 

ESSENTIAL, DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to customers who either visit the dealership or call by maintaining familiarity with all inventory products and merchandising programs; parts inventory and ordering systems; utilized and maintain parts technical resources with the most current information; and dealership credit policies.
• Acknowledge customers as soon as possible.
• Answering incoming calls, interacting professionally with walk in customers
• Make outgoing phone calls to customers, to keep good customer relations.
• utilizing computer business systems and electronic catalogues to search parts
• provide parts invoices and obtain payment
• Process returned items by inspecting items, returning payment, issuing credits, re-shelving items and returning items to suppliers.
• maintain an attractive parts retail display area
• enhance job knowledge by continually participating in online training modules and supplier training on new products

Excellent verbal communication skills.

 

High School Diploma.

 

General Mechanical aptitude.

 

Familiar with automotive/truck components.
