Inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst, Material Allocation 

Responsibilities 

• Analyze demand, supply signals, and safety stock thresholds to support material allocation decisions. 

• Identify allocation risks and recommend prioritization logic based on data trends. 

• Support planning teams with data-driven insights to minimize stock-outs and over-stocking. 

• Design and manage inventory analytics dashboards providing real-time visibility of Long Lead Equipment (LLE) stored across multiple facilities. 

• Perform inventory reconciliation analytics by comparing vendor reports, storage records, and internal asset management systems. 

• Analyze inventory aging, storage utilization, and stock movement trends to support capacity planning and cost optimization. 

• Generate predictive insights to identify potential inventory shortages, excess storage risks, and material availability challenges. 

• Build automated inventory reporting frameworks consolidating data from third-party storage vendors and internal systems. 

• Conduct variance analysis and drive data correction initiatives through vendor and stakeholder collaboration. 

• Develop reporting metrics supporting asset traceability and inventory accuracy governance. 

• Identify process improvement opportunities through data pattern analysis and reporting automation. 

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s in operations research, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Analytics 

• Exposure to ERP or project tracking platforms (SAP, Oracle, Procore, etc.) 

Preferred Qualifications/Skills  

Technical Skills 

• Demand vs supply balancing analysis 

• Allocation planning and optimization modelling 

• Advanced Excel / SQL / Power BI preferred 

• Data interpretation for allocation prioritization 

Functional Skills 

• Safety stock planning and utilization tracking 

• Cross-project material allocation logic 

• Service level and fill rate monitoring 

Behavioural Skills 

• Decision support mindset 

• Analytical judgement 

• Cross-functional collaboration 

Analytics & Tools 

• Advanced MS Excel (mandatory) 

• Power BI / Tableau (preferred) 

• ERP exposure (SAP / Oracle / Procore / Similar) 

• Basic SQL or data querying (good to have) 

• Process automation exposure (Power Automate / RPA – optional advantage) 

Domain Knowledge 

• Supply chain lifecycle understanding 

• Procurement to Pay awareness
