The Solutions Engineer will provide product demonstrations, pre-sales support, and partner enablement while collaborating with sales teams to address client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of our solutions, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and tailor presentations that demonstrate how our solutions can meet those requirements
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations, highlighting the value and capabilities of our offerings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Work closely with prospects to design custom solutions that align with their business processes and objectives
- Assist in crafting detailed proposals and responses to RFPs, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with prospect needs
- Gather insights from prospect interactions to inform product development and enhance our solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years in a sales engineering, presales, solutions consulting or solutions engineering role, within the EPM, ERP, or financial software industry
- Proficiency in EPM and/or ERP platforms and a solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing client challenges
- You will travel up to 40% of your time
- Experience supporting a software platform/product in a customer-facing B2B environment
- Experience with SAP and/or Oracle platforms
- Experience with Rest APIs
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
