Rishabh Software is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager with proven experience in custom software development sales and IT outsourcing services. The ideal candidate will identify and generate new business opportunities, drive the end-to-end sales cycle, and build strong relationships with C-level executives to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, generate, and qualify new business opportunities in custom software development and IT outsourcing
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, and closure
- Sell services including:
- Custom web & mobile application development
- Enterprise software solutions
- SaaS product development
- Staff augmentation & dedicated development teams
- Offshore/nearshore outsourcing services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and stakeholders
- Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Collaborate with pre-sales, technical teams, and project managers to create compelling proposals and solution presentations
- Manage RFP/RFI responses and commercial negotiations
- Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, and forecasting reports
- Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitor offerings
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in custom software development sales
- Proven experience selling IT outsourcing services (offshore/nearshore models)
- Demonstrated track record of closing mid to large-size custom software projects
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in selling: Dedicated teams, Staff augmentation, Fixed-cost and time & material projects
- Established network in target markets (US/Europe/APAC preferred)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Ability to meet or exceed revenue targets consistently
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
- Experience working with global delivery teams
- Understanding of modern tech stacks (e.g., React, Node.js, .NET, Python, Cloud platforms)
- Experience selling Agile-based development services
