They are seeking a Business Development Manager to leverage strong connections within Wisconsin communities to generate new leads, build brand awareness, and address infrastructure needs.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage your strong connections within Wisconsin communities (state, cities, and counties) to help generate new leads, build SEH brand awareness, and position us to win new infrastructure work
- Leverage your extensive professional network, meeting with clients, making new connections, developing new opportunities, and aligning SEH’s services to solve clients’ challenges
- Work with clients to solve community and economic development, and infrastructure needs
Requirements:
- Proven success in working with local, state, and federal funding sources to solve community and economic development and funding issues, as well as governmental administration, and understanding how Wisconsin infrastructure projects are funded
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with local government officials, County, State, and Federal agencies
- Extensive professional network and history working with Wisconsin counties and cities
- This position requires an MVR records check verifying that you possess a valid driver's license and a driving record which meets the requirements of SEH's Driving Program
- The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Ten (10) years of successful experience in working with local, state, and federal funding sources to solve community and economic development and funding issues, as well as governmental administration, and understanding how Wisconsin infrastructure projects are funded
- Ten (10) years of experience working with local, state, and federal funding sources
- Strong knowledge about and experience with Wisconsin funding programs, agencies, communities, and businesses
