Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects.
You can look forward to these exciting tasks
- Training, coaching, and developing line colleagues while maintaining and updating the training matrix to ensure skill coverage and flexibility
- Providing daily leadership and direction to production team members, proactively planning material flow to minimize downtime and disruptions
- Monitoring production operations to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety requirements, and production targets
- Planning team schedules and assigning daily work responsibilities to support balanced workflow and operational efficiency
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve line performance
- Supporting problem-solving activities, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
- Promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment
This is what you bring to us
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Proven leadership abilities with the capability to motivate, guide, and support team members on the production floor
- Strong understanding of workplace safety standards within a manufacturing setting (training provided as needed)
- Ability to obtain required tugger operation certification within 90 days of appointment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment
