What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Safely deliver, place, pick up, and relocate construction equipment and portable sanitation units (portable toilets, wash stations, etc.).
• Load, unload, and secure all items per company procedures; inspect tie-downs in transit as needed.
• Service sanitation units: pump, clean, sanitize, and restock supplies; verify placement and usability at site.
• Dispose of waste at designated facilities; operate vacuum/pump systems safely and efficiently.
• Verify accuracy of deliveries/pickups so customers receive exactly what they ordered; confirm counts and conditions.
• Identify units or equipment requiring repair, complete documentation, tag items, and move/coordinate to repair areas.
• Perform daily pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections (fluids, tires, safety equipment, etc.).
• Complete regulatory logs, timesheets, and reports with accuracy.
• Report new sales opportunities, job sites, or potential business leads.
• Work independently and make sound decisions when managing route challenges or customer requests.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract.
• Experience operating, securing, and transporting heavy loads or construction equipment is an asset.
• Experience driving heavy duty pickup trucks, roll offs, flatbeds, or towing trailers is an asset.
• Previous sanitation service or vacuum truck experience is an asset (training available).
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs; comfortable with physical, hands-on work.
• Confidence in navigating challenging road conditions and familiarity with the Revelstoke area.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and in a fast paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; professional and courteous attitude.
• Excellent organizational and problem solving abilities.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Highly safety focused with pride in vehicle care and job performance.
